Italmatch Chemicals’ Lubricant Performance Additives division is a leading provider of high-end specialty additives for demanding lubricant applications. At the heart of this expertise is Elco, a company with a long history in sulfur and phosphorus chemistry, which was acquired by Italmatch in 2018. Building on Elco’s traditional portfolio, the division now offers a full range of solutions for extreme pressure performance, wear protection, friction modification and corrosion inhibition.

Today, its legacy continues within Italmatch Chemicals, providing sulfurized products (including light-color, low-odor grades), dithiophosphate chemistries and other specialized lubricant packages to meet our customer’s formulating needs. This strong foundation in core chemistries allows the division to offer both complete performance packages and individual components, giving formulators maximum flexibility for industrial lubricant applications.

Italmatch Chemicals Lubricant Performance Additives portfolio serves a wide range of sectors, including metalworking fluids, greases, hydraulic oils, slideway lubricants, gear oils, other industrial lubricants and transportation lubricants. Alongside high-quality products, the division emphasizes collaboration, technical support and trust, working closely with customers and using science to solve find unique solution to formulation challenges and solve manufacturing concerns.
